ELECTRODE TYPE WATER LEVEL GAUGE

  • ✔︎ Maintenance-free operation can be done continuously for 2 years.

    ✔︎ Remote monitoring of water level can be done with brilliant two color indication, in green for water part and in red for gaseous part.

    ✔︎ In case of plural feed water heaters to be mounted at one time at the remote place, SRV can perform it successfully at the control room.

    ✔︎ The pug pitch of 50mm is our standard. However, if required to have a minute watching the level span, it can be scaled down to 25mm, and the plug positioning is at your discretion.

    ✔︎ Output signal to the apparatuses to alarm or to control the water level can be issued. If the electrode plug to indicate the water level is positioned at the warning alarm point of dangerous level and or the level controlling point, use it for such purpose. If not, ask for new electrode to be set at the position, and the output signal can be sent automatically to the apparatus for alarming or controlling.

    ✔︎ SRV can be connected to other apparatus such as computer. For following purpose, the output signal from SRV is altered to 4-20mA.

    1. To input to computer
    2. To record the level on the recording paper of analogue recorder
    3. To record the figure by the printer
    4. To indicate the level by digital number
    5. To input the level to sequencer to be used for various automatic operation

    ✔︎ The circuit trouble may not happen at normal operation. However, even if it should happen accidentally, it is possible to restore it easily on by replacing the broken circuit card in the processor because the circuit is segmented into independent blocks for each electrode.

    ✔︎ SRV has passed the following tests carried out by the public examination institute:

    1. Environmental Temperature resistance Test
    2. Noise Test
    3. EMI Test

  • A series of electrode plug is mounted on the detector which is arranged vertically in one row or two rows as the case may be. Because of difference of electrical resistance between water and steam, electric current to go through an electrode which is exposed to the liquid part differs from that of the gaseous part. The difference of the current is processed by the processor, then turn on lamps on the panel of processor. Water level can be indicated on a remote indicator placed in a control room and/or on the panel of the processor at a job site by turning on green lamps for liquid part and red lamps for gaseous part.

    This gauge is of use most for a boiler drum under very high pressure and temperature.

    This gauge is the only electrode type water level gauge developed and produced in Japan.
